Tundra Con playtesting

Tundra Con is our local game day at the American Legion Hall in Appleton, WI.  It is coming up next Saturday so in the past few weeks we've been play-testing some of the scenarios we are running.

The RJW game using 1/600 scale ships will be way cool.  The ship sculpts are lovely and the Naval Thunder family of naval warfare give fun, quick games.  No pictures were taken because we don't want to give out too much information about ships involved.

I'm running Freeman's Farm with Paul Alaniz using 25/28mm figures and Guns of Liberty 2nd Edition.  Here are a couple of pictures as teasers, again we don't want to give out too much information about the force compositions.

Lots of woods, little open ground for the engagement.

The grenadier column isn't confused, we simply rotated the lead stands.

Continentals pour onto the table.

So will "Gentleman Johnny" Burgoyne or the "Hero of Saratoga" Benedict Arnold prevail?  Come to Tundra Con next Saturday and find out (or wait for the inevitable blog post).

There is also a Flames of War tournament, X-Wing tournament, pike and shot, Age of Sail and many other games to choose from.  Just a $10 admission for the whole day with great food and drink available on site or lots of fast food nearby.
